Polygamy in the Bible and in the quran
Did God permit seven women for each man in the bible? The passage reads: And in that day, seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take away our reproach, Isaiah 4:1.

Did God permit seven women for each man in the bible? The passage reads: And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take away our reproach, Isaiah 4:1.
Does God allow polygamy biblically or in other religions? Does God condemn polygamy in commandment, or it is just a tradition? Biblically, in the Torah, polygamy is permitted because it wasn't condemned by God in the bible. Men could have numerous wives, but women are not permitted to have more than one husband. It is proven biblically that polygamy is not adultery. The bible [Torah] doesn't contain scriptures that prohibit man from having more than one wife. The above images give us an idea how people [especially the man of God Abraham] practice polygamy without humility.
In the first image, Abraham dispatches his second wife Hagar and his firstborn son Ishmael that he had with Hagar. Abraham did it because his first wife Sarah told them so because she conceived with Isaac after Hagar had Ishmael. Moreover, God spoke to Abraham in dream to do what his wife Sarah = Sara told him to do. [I personally don't believe God would act in such harsh way. ]
In the second image, Hagar with her son Ishmael wondering in the wilderness crying to God without food and water because Abraham gave her a small jar of water for the day. The angel appeared to her and issued a prophecy that her son Ishmael is blessed and his seed will multiply to be a great nation. If God blessed Ishmael, why He permitted Abraham to kick Ishmael out with the mother Hagar?
In the third image: Abraham obeyed God's commandment to sacrifice his firstborn son. Actually, Abraham was trying to sacrifice his younger son Isaac instead his firstborn Ishmael because he dispatched Ishmael and Hagar from his home. How the younger son Isaac becomes the firstborn? Polygamy in that era and in this modern era causes many conflicts. For example: the conflicts in Judaism because of Polygamy in that era, the conflicts in Islam during that era and this era because of Polygamy, and the conflicts in the Mormon church because of Polygamy in that era and in this era. Moreover, adultery, which resembles a bit causes many conflicts in all eras.
We can't complain about polygamy because God has permitted, especially for his favorite prophets. Moses had two wives also. King David had three wives. David's son, the king Solomon had 700 wives. Moses was permitted because he wasn't a king.
However, Moses prohibited kings from having more than one wife. The passage reads: King must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold, Deuteronomy 17:16 to 17.
The Protestant Church prohibits polygamy, but the founder of this church King Henry the Eighth had six wives.
King Henry the eight: The founder of the Protestant church Henry VIII is infamous for having been married six times. He divorced 2, and killed 3, and before he killed the sixth wife he died. For more information, refer to encyclopedia wikipedia, King Henry VIII.
Did Jesus condemn polygamy? Let us read the following text to find out.
---------------------------
1 - Polygamy in Judaism, Christianity, Islam, & Mohammed's wives; he had 24 wives and 6 concubines
Abraham had three wives, Sarah, Hagar, and Keturah; Abraham had also many children from his servants = [concubine]. Moreover, God called Abraham a righteous man; God had a covenant with Abraham that the world will be blessed through him. Moreover, God have chosen Abraham's seeds [or descendants] as His chosen people. Abraham dispatched his second wife Hagar with her son; he gave them food for one day. Hagar was lost in the wilderness without food and waters. Abraham did it because his wife Sarah got very jealous from Hagar and told him to kick her out with her child. The child was Abraham's. Moreover, Abraham had a dream with God commanding him to do whatever his wife Sarah told him to do. In the morning, Abraham dispatched Hagar and his son Ishmael. It is sad story; I don't believe it happened because God will never agree with such harsh treatment. Through this action, Isaac became the firstborn of Abraham. Later, the angel of God asked Abraham to sacrifice his only begotten son Isaac. However, Isaac is not the firstborn and not the only begotten son. There are many prophets of God that had more than one wife in the bible. Moreover, they were permitted to have sex with their female slave.
Polygamy in Jesus' gospel in Catholic Church: Polygamy in Jesus' gospel = [or in the Catholic Church] is not permitted. But Jesus didn't mention about polygamy.
Jesus said: from the beginning God created them, male and female, and when the husband and wife join in Marriage, they become one body. Jesus mentions about a couple of one man and one woman. It means also that same sex marriages or relations as homosexuality and Lesbianism are not permitted according to Jesus' Word.
Jesus said: No one is permitted to divorce his wife unless in fornication. And if a man married a divorce, fornicated woman will commit adultery as well. And if a man looks at a woman for lust, he commits adultery in his heart also.
Polygamy in the Mormon church: I don't have to contradict the polygamy in the Mormon church because polygamy is permitted in the Torah. Most of God's prophets in the Torah had more than two wives. The Mormon church is supporting their polygamous orientation according to the Torah that is used as a fundamental faith. However, when it comes to the forgiveness of sin, they forsake the Torah and follow Jesus Christ and Paul's teaching that liberate them from God's Law. And when it comes to collect donations [the tenth of the individual's income is offered to the church] they use the Torah for that purpose only.
Polygamy in the protestant church: Polygamy in the protestant church is not permitted, they follow Jesus' teaching, not the Torah. However, when it comes to the forgiveness of sin, they forsake the Torah and follow Jesus Christ and Paul's teaching that liberate them from God's Law. And when it comes to collect donations [the tenth of the individual's income is offered to the church] they use the Torah for that purpose only.
But one more comment about the founder of the Protestant church:
King Henry the eight: The founder of the Protestant church Henry VIII is infamous for having been married six times. He divorced 2, and killed 3, and before he killed the sixth wife he died. For more information, refer to encyclopedia wikipedia, King Henry VIII.
Polygamy in Islam: In the quran, man is permitted to have four wives, Islamic Quran (sourat alnissa 4:3). Mohammed the prophet of Islam had 13 wives in practice on daily basis, but in total, he had 24 wives, two of his practical wives were Christians, Aisah, and Kadija = [Khadijah]. Mohammed married Aisah when she was 6 years old, and consumed his marriage with Aisha when she was 9 years old. Moreover, the Quran [or Mohammed's revelation] no one is permitted to marry Mohammed's wives after Mohammed's death. I find this law is abnormal because 30 young widows left without support in that era and in this modern era is cruelty against humanity. However, the Quran commands Muslims to marry widows because their men died during [al - fatih] = the Islamic invasion on other nations. But no men is permitted to touch or to marry Mohammed's wives after his death.
Mohammed had 6 concubines also according the source below. Close relations with concubines are permitted in Islam, but men must not forget to pay their wages. It is a commandmnet, read Islamic Quran (sourat alnisa 4:24)

Mohammed's Concubines
According to Merriam-Webster, a concubine is "a woman with whom a man cohabits without being married: as a: one having a recognized social status in a household below that of a wife".
Many hadith specifically state that Muhammed = [Mohammed] had concubines. Here are a few of them:
The paragraphed of Mohammed's wives ends.
---------------------------
Resume the main subject:
However, muslims women are not permitted to marry non-muslim men, the penalty is death. Men can marry non-muslim girls, but they have to convert the girls to Islam before marriage. Warning: In the quran, as allah commands: no one allowed to marry Mohammed's wives after Mohammed's death.
However, the quran permit Muslims to marry widow or virgins, up to 4 wives. The quran tell muslims that if the man can't treat the 4 wives equally, which he can't, then, one is lawful. But they still take 4 as wives. Man can divorce his wife by simply say the word [divorce] three time. The wife will be on her own instantly.
The quran of Islam says: [4.3] And if you fear that you cannot act equitably towards orphans, then marry such women as seem good to you, two and three and four; but if you fear that you will not do justice (between them), then (marry) only one or what your right hands possess; this is more proper, that you may not deviate from the right course. Quran of Islam (sourat alnissa 4:3)
Female Slavery: All the pleasure that you have obtained of them, BUT you must pay them their labors at the end: In the Quran; man is not permitted to touch other Muslim women, but he could with slave married girls or singles that are not Muslims, but he has to pay them their wages at the end. It is the first time I hear such law. I lived in Muslim surrounding all my life; I never herd such abnormality, until I ran a cross this passage in the Quran that changed my view toward Islam
Read Allah's word in the Quran of Islam: [And from the muhas-anat [married Muslim women] are forbidden to you except those whom your possess this is Allah ordinance to you And lawful for you after behind that you seek with your moneys muhasanin la musafahin = [married women that are NOT FREE = slaves] all the pleasure that you have obtained of them, pay them their labors as appointed; and there is no blame on you about what you mutually agree after what is appointed; surely Allah is Knowing Wise. (koran = (quran) of Islam (sourat alnisa 4:24)
---------------------------
1 - Did God permit man to have seven women?
The passage reads: And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying: We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, take away our reproach, Isaiah 4:1.
Is biblical polygamy a condition, cult's practice, God's commandment, or party sexual practice only “orgy”. Biblically, polygamy describes man having numerous wives, polygamy doesn't permit woman to have more than one husband. It is clearly proven biblically that polygamy is not adultery. The bible doesn't indicate a unique scripture prohibiting women from having more than one husband. It is not understandable for a woman to have sex with multiple husbands; it would be very difficult to identify the father of the newborn. It will cause problems and complications in many concepts. It would be more logic for man to have numerous wives because it is uncomplicated to identify the father and the mother of the newborn. It is been proven psychologically, socially, economically, and sexually.
Therefore, Moses permitted man to have multiply wives only.
Unbiblical theory: Some people practice polygamy for fun without been married, which is polygamous. It is practiced by unisex and bisexual. Such practice is not biblical. In some countries polygamy is legal, lesbian women is permitted to have more than one male husband and with few females. Woman is permitted to have female or male husband as well. Homosexual man is permitted to marry more than one male partner or bisexual partners "as wife".
What is the principle of polygamy? Biblical polygamy is to have fruitful family and to increase populations. God said: It is not good that should be alone, I will make him a help meet for him, Genesis 2:18.
God was worried about Adam; He created a woman to help him. When Adam's works increased, he required to have more than one help in all circumstances. Therefore, God didn't prohibit polygamy according to His Law. Polygamy is not an obligation. Married couple "or a married man" is not obliged to get involved in polygamy. However, polygamy should be notified to the previous wife in advance before committing such act. If the first wife isn't notified, it will consider adultery, even through marriage contract. Moreover, the couple or the husband "particularly", must check with authority if such practice is permitted, unless the group wants to do it secretly, which is called adultery and as orgy.
God loves people; therefore, He created them male and female to produce and to multiply according to His Law. The presence of multiple wives in one family is helpful and fruitful as well. Concerning man, polygamy eliminates adultery and Jealousy. Nevertheless, concerning women, it eliminates jealousy but I am not sure if it eliminates adultery. Both woman and man could commit adultery with or without polygamy. It is matter of faithfulness and the comprehension of the purpose of marriage life. Some people get married because they are in love. Others get married to have family. At the end, some commit adultery to achieve more pleasure, and some do it because of partnership sexual complication, and some do it because of psychological problem.
Who is practicing hidden polygamy in our society? Many people practice polygamy and deny it. Adultery is hidden polygamy. Many married people swindle with their relation, which is called adultery. This kind of adultery is hidden polygamy because the husband or the wife is having more than one sexual partner, which is polygamy. Such adultery or hidden polygamy in female practice is called concubine also. It is when woman / women dwell with a man without been married. A combination of bisexual polygamy is called orgy. It is when numerous males and female are having sexual party.
---------------------------
2 - Moses permitted man to have multiple wives
Moses allowed multiple wives; God issued laws concern the firstborn of the first wife and the second through Moses. The passage reads: [15 If a man have two wives, one beloved, and the other hated, and they have had children by him, and the son of the hated be the firstborn, 16 And he means to divide his substance among his sons: he may not make the son of the beloved the firstborn, and prefer him before the son of the hated. 17 But he shall acknowledge the son of the hated for the firstborn, and shall give him a double portion of all he hath: for this is the first of his children, and to him are due the first birthrights,] Deuteronomy 21:15.
In Exodus Moses allowed man to have second wife also, the passage reads: [And if he take another wife for him, he shall provide her a marriage, and raiment, neither shall he refuse the price of her chastity = (virginity) ,] Exodus 21:10. It means that polygamy is not against the law.
The passage in (Exodus 21:10) protects the first and the second wife. If polygamy is against the law, the author wouldn’t have written the passage that permits polygamy after 22 verses of the 7th Commandment of God's Ten Commandments; which reads: [Thou shall not commit adultery], Exodus 20:14. We can't consider it as an error, it is written on the same page of God's Ten Commandments.
“Exodus 21:10” confirms that polygamy is lawful, it is a permission to have two wives.
---------------------------
3 - According to the Torah, Kings are not allowed to have multiply wives
Moses prohibited kings from having multiple wives only. Nevertheless, did Moses transgress because he had two wives? No, Moses didn't transgress because he was not a king. King David and his son Solomon transgressed against Moses' Law.
According to the law, Moses said: 6 The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the LORD has told you, "You are not to go back that way again." 17 He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold, Deuteronomy 17:16 to 17.
It means that ordinary men could have many wives. However, Abraham, king Saul, king David, and king Solomon had numerous wives. The word prohibits kings.
The false apostle Paul prohibited bishops and deacons to have many wives because men usually have more than one wife during Abraham, Moses, and Jesus' era. It means that ordinary men could have more than one wife.
Killing in the name of God: "refer to" Crimes in the name of God Did Moses transgress or add other laws to God's Law?
---------------------------
4 - Jesus didn't prohibit polygamy
Jesus didn't contradict or prohibit polygamy. Jesus spoke about divorce, he didn't mention about polygamy. The passage reads:
And said, [for this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? [6] Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. [7] They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? [8] He said unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. [9] And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committed adultery: and whoso married her which is put away doth commit adultery, Matthew 19:5 to 9
It is clearly proven that polygamy is not a sin, because polygamy is biblical. Most of God's prophets had more than one wife.
Jesus and Moses didn't prohibit polygamy. Since polygamy is NOT a sin, it should NOT be against the law.
---------------------------
5 - Man and women become one flesh in marriage
God said: It is not good that should be alone, I will make him a help meet for him, Genesis 2:18. It means that God created women to help the men. However, in modern era men is helping women instead. In reality, they help each other. Nevertheless, God make woman for Adam to help him. If women are created to help men, why man couldn't have more than one wife to help? Responsibilities are partaking in between, which make it easier for the husband and for his wives.
[Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh,] Genesis 2:24. The same passage is mentioned in Matthew 19:5 to 6, and in Mark 10:8.
Moses and his wives were one flesh. You don't have to be in couple to be one flesh. Jesus prayed to His Father for his disciples to be one in them as he is one in God. The passage reads: That they all may be one, as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee; that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou hast given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, as we also are one, John 17:21 to 22.
If Jesus is one in his twelve disciples and his disciples are one in Jesus and in God. It wouldn't be difficult to be as one flesh with your wives.
Since Moses had two wives, and Abraham had three wives, and David had 18 women, it means that Polygamy is not against the law. I believe Moses didn't break the law; he was one flesh with his wives.
David's wives are Michol = (Michal), Abigail, Ahinoam = (Achinoam) the Jezreel = (Jezrahelitess):, Eglah, Maacah, Abital, Haggith, and Bathsheba, and 10 women concubines = (living with women without been married with).
[Note: Bersabee = (Bershebah) is “Ber of Shebah”, it means “the well of Shebah” it means the well of abundance. The word "Beer" means "well" and "Ber" means "land" or field. The word Shebah in Arabic or in Hebrew means “abundance” = had enough to eat or enough to drink, or “full”, Genesis 26:32 to 33.
Part of Shebah’s city or village is in modern Israel and part in Lebanon boarder. The Syrians authority, the Lebanese authority, and the Israelite authority are fighting for the fields of Shabah”. In reality, this place belongs to Israel. It is been proven in Genesis 26:32 to 33. They call it Mazarea Shabah or Shebah. The word Mazarea is Arabic language means "fields" “Fields of Shabah” or “Farms of Shabah].
[13 David took more concubines and wives of Jerusalem, after he was come from Hebron: and there were born to David other sons also and daughters,] Second Samuel 5:13.
[3 And David took other wives in Jerusalem: and he beget sons, and daughters,] First Chronicles 14:3.
[27 And after a few days David rose up, and went with the men that were under him, and he slew of the Philistines = (Philistim) = (Palestine) = (Palestinians) two hundred men, and brought their foreskins and numbered them out to the king, that he might be his son in law. Saul therefore gave him Michol = (Michal) his daughter to wife, First Samuel 18:27.
[43 Moreover David took also Achinoam = (Ahinoam) of Jezrahel: and they were both of them his wives, 44 But Saul had given Michal his daughter, David's wife] First Samuel 25:43 to 44.
[David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife, First Samuel 25:39.
[2 And sons were born to David in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon of Ahinoam = (Achinoam) the Jezrahelitess: 3 And his second Cheleab of Abigail the widow of Nabal of Carmel: and the third Absalom the son of Maacha the daughter of Tholmai king of Gessur: 4 And the fourth Adonias, the son of Haggith: and the fifth Saphathia the son of Abital: 5 And the sixth Jethraam of Egla the wife of David: these were born to David in Hebron,] Second Samuel 3:2 to 5.
[And David took him more concubines and wives,] Second Samuel 5:13, First Chronicles 14:3.
[7 And Nathan said to David: Thou art the man. Thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee from the hand of Saul, 8 And gave thee thy master's house and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and Juda = (Judah): and if these things be little, I shall add far greater things unto thee. 9 Why therefore hast thou despised the word of the Lord, to do evil in my sight? Thou hast killed Urias the Hethite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon. 10 Therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house, because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Urias the Hethite to be thy wife. 11 Thus said the Lord: Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thy own house, and I will take thy wives before thy eyes I and give them to thy neighbor, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun,] Second Samuel 12:7 to 11.
---------------------------
6 - Islam permits man to have multiple wives =polygamy
moslems = (muslims) man is permitted to have four wives. Actually, the koran = (quran) is eighty percent identical to the Torah. Example: God is one, stoning adulterers to death, girls must remain virgin till marriage, male must get circumcised, washing before praying, must be bare-foot to pray, worshipping idols is not permitted, unclean food as pigs is not permitted, eating foods that are not halal is permitted, halal means blessed and prepared foods according to their doctrines, eating or touching strangled animal is not permitted, eating blood is not permitted, divorce is permitted, polygamy is permitted, marring from another race is not permitted, virginity is a serious issue in marriage, women are second class citizen in both religions, woman is defiled during her bloody menstrual, don't come near a woman during her bloody menstrual, men are not suppose to have sex with women during their "menstrual" periods, homosexuality and lesbian practices are not permitted, orgy = (sex party) is not permitted, and Kill whosoever TRY to deceive you to worship strange gods.
There are four things that are not in common in both religions.
First: Islam prohibits alcohol beverages. Torah permits.
Second: Islam forces people to surrender, Torah doesn’t.
Third: Islam permits killing whosoever doesn't believe in God allah. Torah permits killing whosoever TRY to deceive you to worship strange gods only, but don't force anyone to worship God Yahweh, and don't kill the unbelievers in God Yahweh.
Fourth: Islam commands to love relatives only, Torah commands to love the strangers and the neighbors as thy self.
Note: The false apostle Paul preformed the Christianity liberty to multiply his cult and to abolish God's Law of the Torah. It means that Christians are permitted to do whatsoever they want because they are saved. Is it lawful to abolish God's Law and to flourish in sin? No, it is not. For more information, refer to page "Saved"
---------------------------
7 - The false apostle Paul prohibited deacons and bishop to have more than one wife
Paul prohibited deacons and bishops to have more than one wife. However, he didn't say anything about ordinary man. If Paul denied polygamy for deacon and bishop, it means that polygamy was in practice during that era. And because Paul didn't prohibited ordinary man from having multiple wives it means that polygamy is not against the law for ordinary citizens. Moses prohibited kings only to practice polygamy. Moses prohibited high priest to marry a widow or prostitute, priest must marry virgin from his own people.
Some authorities prohibit polygamy for taxable purpose, control population, and because of Paul's commandment in the bible. Paul is not a legitimate apostle or disciple. Paul was killing Jesus' disciples and the Christians worldwide. In our modern era, women are having children without husbands. I believe it is a sin to have sex or to have children without been married; the children don't know their father. Adopting children in homosexual relation, children don't know their mother. The Children in lesbian’s relation don't recognize their father. At least in Polygamy the father know his children and the children know their real father and the real mother. Legitimate marriage with numerous wife is not a sin, adultery is.
The false apostle Paul hated women, he probably had sexual problem, and therefore, he prohibited polygamy and women from speaking in church. Paul forced women to be in subjection to her husband. Paul commanded bishop and deacon to have one wife only. Paul didn't address his commandment to ordinary citizens. Paul shouldn’t have given commandments. Paul is NOT a legitimate apostle and disciple.
Paul said: 3 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant,
sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to
wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not
covetous; 4 One that rules well his own house, having his children in subjection
with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall
he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with
pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover he must have a good
report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of
the devil,
First Timothy
3:2 to 7.
Paul said: 8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not double tongued, not
given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre; 9 holding the mystery of the
faith in a pure conscience. 10 And let these also first be proved; then let them
use the office of a deacon, being found blameless. 11 Even so must their wives
be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things. 12 Let the deacons be
the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well. 13
For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a
good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus,
First Timothy 3:8 to 13.
The above passages of Paul don't make Paul a righteous man. Paul contradicted Moses' Law. Moses prohibited kings from heaving multiple wives only. Nevertheless, did Moses transgress because he had two wives? No, Moses didn't transgress because he was not a king. King David and his son Solomon transgressed against Moses' Law because they were kings. Prophet Ezekiel spoke in God's name that Deacons should marry only virgins from his own people. Ezekiel did say anything about multiple wives because polygamy was permitted.
---------------------------
8 - God's Word for high priests, deacons, and bishops
Priests are not permitted to marry widows, they must marry “virgins” of their own people, and however, they are permitted to marry a widow of a priest only. Moses didn't prohibit priests to have multiple wives; however, he prohibited kings ONLY to have more than one wife. It means that polygamy is permitted for men and prophets, except kings.
The passage reads: Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away: but they shall take maidens of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that had a priest before, Ezekiel 44:22.
The passage reads: 10 And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes; 11 Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother; 12 Neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the crown of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord. 13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity. 14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife. 15 Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the Lord do sanctify him, Leviticus 21:10 to 15.

King Henry the eight: The founder of the Protestant church Henry VIII is infamous for having been married six times. He divorced 2, and killed 3, and before he killed the sixth wife he died. For more information, refer to encyclopedia wikipedia, King Henry VIII.

10 - Men, kings, and prophets with multiple wives in the bible
Abdon A judge of Israel by implication of number of sons had more than one wife. [And he had forty sons and thirty nephews that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years,] Judges 12:14.
---------------------------
Abijah A king of Judah had fourteen wives [But Abijah waxed mighty, and married fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters,] second Chronicles 13:21.
---------------------------
Abraham Faithful man of God and the father of the Hebrew nation had three wives Sarah, Hagar, and Cetura = (Keturah) and concubine women.
[Note: Agar = (Hagar) = (Hager)]
[Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar], Genesis 16:1.
[And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar = (Hager) her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife,] Genesis 16:3.
[Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Cetura = (Keturah)], Genesis 25:1.
Abraham had concubines women and had children from them. Abraham gave all what he had to his son Isaac. He gave gifts to Hagar = (Hager) and to her son Ishmael, and to the concubines and their sons that he had. The word concubine means woman living with man without been married.
The passage reads: [1 And Abraham married another wife, named Cetura = (Keturah). 2 Who bore to him Zamran = (Zimran), and Jecsan = (Jokshan), and Madan = (Medan), and Madian = (Midian), and Jesboc = (Ishbak), and Sue = (Shuah) = (Shuah).3 Jecsan = (Jokshan) also begot Saba = (Sheba) and Dadan = (Dedan). The children of Dadan = (Dedan) were Assurim = (Asshurim), and Latusim = (Letushim) = (Latussim), and Loomin = (Leummim). 4 But of Madian = (Midian) was born Epha = (Ephah), and Opher = (Epher), and Henoch = (Henoc) = (Hanoch), and Abida = (Abidah), and Eldaa = (Eldaah): all these were the children of Cetura = (Keturah), 5 And Abraham gave all his possessions to Isaac.
6 And to the children of the concubines that Abraham had, he gave gifts, and separated them from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, to the east country, Genesis 25:1 to 6.
[Note: in some translation Henoch = (Enoch) = (Henoc) = (Hanoch)], and [Mathusala = (Methuselah) = (Mathusale)]
[Note: Henoch = (Henoc) in Genesis 4:17 is not the same Enoch that is in Genesis 5:24. Henoch = (Henoc) in verse 4:17 is Cain's son, and Enoch in verse 5:24 is of Adam's seed, who God took to heaven.]
[Note: God took Enoch alive to heaven, Genesis 5:18 to 24. Few people believe that Enoch and Elijah will return to earth before the dreadful day of the lord. However, I believe that Moses and Elijah shall return to Earth instead Enoch and Elijah. Elijah ascended to heaven alive also, and Moses and Elijah appeared to Jesus also, Matthew 17:1 to 11. Genesis mentions about another person, which his name was Henoch = (Henoc). The person that ascended to heaven alive is Enoch. The son of Cain who killed his brother Abel is Henoch = (Henoc), Genesis 4:17. In some Arabic translations as the Bible Society of Lebanon, the son of Cain is Henoch = (Henoc), Genesis 4:17 and Enoch who ascend to heaven is “Aknouk” or “Achnouch”, Genesis 5:18. Both names are almost pronounced the same, but they spell differently]
[Note: Assur = (Asshur)] [Note: Madian = (Midian) = (Median)]
[Note: the name "Henoch" is "Enoch" = (Henoc), and the name "Mathusala" is "Methuselah"] = (Mathusale)
