Wine & Strong Drink in the bible:

1 - Wine in the Torah and in Jesus' Gospel

1:1 Scriptures about wine in the Torah and through the prophets:

4 - Isaac and his son Esau drank wine

43 - The old wine and the new wine both destroy your heart, it reads: {Whore-dome and wine and new wine take away the heart}

45 - Repent and return to God, and you shall be like the wine of Lebanon

48 - In those days they shall sale the girl for wine

52 - WINE IN JESUS' GOSPEL, Jesus drank wine but not during his last Supper

53 - Jesus = (Yeshua) warns about His return, and about the tribulations, He said Don’t be overcharged with drunkenness

54 - The false apostle PAUL’S LAW ABOUT wine and wine drinkers

54:1 - The first letter of the false apostle Paul to Timothy said it differently, it reads: do not drink water but drink little wine

------------------------------------------

Both drinks contain alcohol. Some prophets in the bible condemn wine drinkers, some don't. Jesus did drink wine during his ministry on earth, Jesus' first miracle, he turned wine into water. Even Jesus drank wine; Jesus warned us about drunkenness, it reads: [And take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly. For as a snare shall it come upon all that sit upon the face of the whole earth, Luke 21:34 to 35].

In reality, drinking wine or strong drink [hard liquor] in moderation is acceptable.

During Abraham and Moses' era, they used to take wine with them in their journeys to quench their thirst. In God's Law through Moses, many offerings have to be mixed with wine or given separately.

1 - Wine in the Torah and in Jesus' Gospel

1. What the prophets say about wine in their books and in the Torah.

The wine cheers God and man {Then said the trees unto the vine, come and reign over us. And the vine said unto them, should I leave my wine, which cheers God and man, and go to promote over the trees, Judges 9:12 to 13.

Hosea prophesied differently about wine, it reads: the wine causes you to err with men and God, Hosea 4:11 to 12. [Note: Osee = (Hosea)]

There are two sort of wine, new and old, both wines have the same effect, (Hosea 4:11). Strong drink and grape juice both has three different meanings and three different uses. The bible indicates: those days they used wine to quench their thirsts, and they mix it with the offerings’ sacrifices to God according to the Torah.

The bible mentions many times that drinking wine is permitted, but prohibiting the drinkers from getting drunk. Paul's hoax epistle tells us that bishop, pastors, and priests are not permitted to drink wine, First Timothy 3:3. The book of Proverbs tells us that wine is mocker and bites as snake. The Lord God said to Aaron: do not drink wine when you enter my tabernacle, (it meant God’s temple or the Church also), Leviticus 10:8 to 9. We don't know if this law permits us to drink it after serving God in his house. The prophets and the Torah don't indicate that drinking wine is prohibited.

The false apostle Paul prohibited priests, pastors, and bishops to drink wine, but never prohibited the people to drink it. The strong drink is considered as wine, but it was used as drink offering to God also. The book of proverbs reads: Wine is a mocker, strong drink is powerful: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise. Proverbs 20:1.

Jesus warned us about drunkenness, it reads: [And take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly. For as a snare shall it come upon all that sit upon the face of the whole earth, Luke 21:34 to 35].

Wine quenches their thirsts as water, Second Samuel 16:1 to 2. The book of Isaiah = (Isaias) = (Yesha'yahu) tells us: THE LORD SAID COME TO ME AND I SHALL GIVE YOU MILK AND WINE, Isaiah 55:1 to 2. The book of Lamentations 2:11 to 12, speaks about the necessity of wine in those days. [Note: Isaiah = (Isaias) = (Yesha'yahu)]

The wine was used to offer as drink and sweet odor sacrifice to God, Numbers 28:7. The grape juice is not wine or strong drink, but it is prohibited for hermit during his vow to the Lord God, grape juice, wine, vinegar, moistens and dried grapes, Numbers 6:3 to 4.

The book of proverbs says that strong drink is stronger than wine, it reads: wine is a mocker, strong drink is powerful: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise, Proverbs 20:1.

When Moses told the children of Israel about how God took care of them in the wilderness for forty years without eating bread or meat NOR DRINKING WINE OR STRONG DRINK. God gave them (the Manna) as food (heavenly food). The scripture reads: {And I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes are not waxen old upon you, and your shoe is not waxen old upon your foot. You have not eaten bread, neither have you drank wine nor strong drink: that you might know that I am the lord your God, Deuteronomy 29:5 to 6.

The above passage tells us that wine those days is a requirement as Fruit juice and as a drink to quench their thirsts, (we don’t know the quantities of alcohol in this product in those days) if these things are prohibited to drink, God would not have mentioned it when He spoke to his people through Moses.

Some prophets didn't prohibit drinking wine, other prophets said that you should not get drunk with wine. Drink in moderation, don't loose control. Wine is a mocker, strong drink is powerful: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise, Proverbs 20:1.

So, if the father made a mistake on the first night when he was drunk, how could he have sex with his second daughter on the second night? It is not because of wine, the daughters wanted to have their father's seed and the father wanted to have fun.

What happened on the first night, the passage read: {and they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father: and he perceived not when she lay down or when arose, Genesis 19:33}.

What happened on the second night, the scripture reads: {and they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him: and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose. WINE IN JESUS' GOSPEL, Jesus drank wine but not during his last Supper

52. Jesus = (Yeshua) CHANGES THE WATER INTO WINE

And the third day there was a marriage in Canaan = (Chanaan) of Galilee And the mother of Jesus = (Yeshua) was there. And both Jesus = (Yeshua) was called, and his disciples, to the marriage. And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus = (Yeshua) said unto him they have no wine. Jesus = (Yeshua) said unto her, WOMAN, WHAT HAVE I TO DO WITH YOU? MINE HOUR IS NOT YET COME. His mother said unto the servants, whatsoever he said unto you, do it. And there were set their six water pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus = (Yeshua) said unto them, FILL THE WATER POTS WITH WATER. And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them. DRAW OUT NOW AND BEAR UNTO THE GOVERNOR OF THE FEAST. And they bare it. When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wines, and knew not whence it was. But the servants, who drew the water, knew. The governor of the feast called the bridegroom. And said unto him, every man at the beginning does set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but you had kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus = (Yeshua) in Canaan = (Chanaan) of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believe on him, John 2:1 to 11.

[Note: the word Gilgal or Galgal is commonly used as Galila, Gilgala, Galgala, Galil, or "Galilee" where the Lord Jesus = (Yeshua) Christ came from Nazareth of Galilee.]

52A. Jesus' = (Yeshua) LAST SUPPER, as there are a new and old wine, fruits of the vine, and strong drink in the Torah and in the prophets' books, they are old and new wine in Jesus' gospel also. The false Paul prohibits the bishops, priests, and pastors to drink wine only. Jesus' gospel prohibits the believers sitting with drunker also; it tells us that the drunker do not inherit the Kingdom of God. It means that wine is permitted in certain limit, example: not to get drunk, drowsy, lose control, balance, and judgment. If drinking wine is not permitted, Jesus = (Yeshua) would not use wine as parables. When Jesus = (Yeshua) spoke to the Jews about John the Baptist He said:

Jesus = (Yeshua) said: {FOR JOHN THE BAPTIST CAME NEITHER EATING BREAD NOR DRINKING WINE; AND YOU SAY, HE HAS A DEVIL. THE SON OF MAN IS COME EATING AND DRINKING; AND YOU SAY, BEHOLD A GLUTTONOUS MAN, AND A WINE DRINKER A FRIEND OF PUBLICANS AND SINNERS, Luke 7:33 to 34.

The above scripture tells us that Jesus = (Yeshua) was drinking wine during his era on earth.

However, Jesus didn't drink wine during his Last Supper:

It reads: Jesus = (Yeshua) did not drink wine in His last Supper with his disciple. Jesus = (Yeshua) gave them (The fruit of the vine) the word (vine) is not wine, it is the grapes' tree, a vine, and what was mention in the scripture was (a fruit) but not wine. There is a big difference between (fruit) and (wine), and what Jesus = (Yeshua) gave them was “grape juice”. Jesus = (Yeshua) did not drink it, He promised to drink it in His father’s kingdom.

It reads:{And as they were eating, Jesus = (Yeshua) took the bread, and blessed it and breaks it, and gave it to the disciples, and Jesus = (Yeshua) said: TAKE, EAT; THIS IS MY BODY. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, DRINK ALL OF YOU FROM IT: FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, WHICH IS SHED FOR MANY FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.

Jesus = (Yeshua) said: BUT I SAY UNTO YOU, I WILL NOT DRINK HENCEFORTH OF THIS FRUIT OF THE VINE, UNTIL THAT DAY WHEN I DRINK IT NEW WITH YOU IN MY FATHER’S KINGDOM, Matthew 26:26 to 29}

53. Jesus = (Yeshua) uses the word "Wine" in many parables

Jesus = (Yeshua) said: {NEITHER DO MEN PUT NEW WINE INTO OLD BOTTLES: ELSE THE BOTTLES BREAK, AND THE WINE RUNS OUT, AND THE BOTTLES PERISH: BUT THEY PUT NEW WINE INTO NEW BOTTLES AND BOTH ARE PRESERVED, Matthew 9:17}.

Jesus = (Yeshua) said: {AND NO MAN PUTS NEW WINE INTO OLD BOTTLES: ELSE THE NEW WINE DOES BURST THE BOTTLES, AND THE WINE IS SPILLED, AND THE BOTTLES WILL BE MARRED BUT NEW WINE MUST BE PUT INTO NEW BOTTLES, Mark 2:22}.

Jesus = (Yeshua) said: {NO MAN ALSO HAVING DRUNK OLD WINE STRAIGHTWAY DESIRES NEW: FOR HE SAYS, THE OLD IS BETTER, Luke 5:39}.

Jesus = (Yeshua) said: {AND WILL NOT RATHER SAY UNTO HIM, MAKE READY WHEREWITH I MAY SUP, AND GIRD YOUR SELF AND SERVE ME TILL I HAVE EATEN AND DRUNKEN: AND AFTERWARD YOU SHALL EAT AND DRINK? Luke 17:8}.

The scriptures that are in Luke 5:39 and Luke17:8, Jesus = (Yeshua) gave two parables about a man that got drunk by drinking wine, if wine is prohibited why Jesus = (Yeshua) did not use a different way of giving His parables? In Jesus' = (Yeshua) ministry, Jesus = (Yeshua) never prohibited drinking wine? The false apostle Paul said that bishops should not drink wine. (As pastors, and priests, etc…) Paul said that you could use wine as medication for your infirmity.

53. Jesus = (Yeshua) warns about His return, and about the tribulations, He said Don’t be overcharged with drunkennessJesus = (Yeshua) said:

{AND TAKE HEED OF YOURSELVES, LEST AT ANY TIME YOUR HEARTS BE OVERCHARGED WITH SURFEITING, AND DRUNKENNESS, AND CARES OF THIS LIFE, AND SO THAT DAY COME UPON YOU UNAWARES, Luke 21:34}.

------------------------------------------

54. The false apostle PAUL’S LAW ABOUT wine and wine drinkers

Let us walk honestly not in drunkenness Paul said: {Let us walk honestly, as in day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying, Romans 13:13}.

Do not walk in the works of the flesh, that are against the spirit Paul said: (The desire of the flesh) For the flesh lust against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh: and these Are contrary the one to the other, so that you cannot do the thing that you would. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, and lasciviousness? Idolatry, witchcraft, Hatred, variance, emulation, wrath, strife, sedition, Heresies, Envying, murders, drunkenness, revealing the future and such like of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things Shall not inherit the kingdom of God, Galatians 5:17 to 21.

Do no be with company of drunkardPaul said: {But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a drunkard or an extortion; with such an one no not to eat, First Corinthians 5:11}.

Be not drunk with wine Paul said: {And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit, Ephesians 5:18}.

Note: Paul said in his letter to Ephesians, do not get drunk, but he did not say, do not drink wine?

However, bishop should not give to wine Paul said: {bishop should not be given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous, First Timothy 3:3}.

Note:

Concerning wine in the Torah and in the prophets' books, wine is not prohibited but getting drunk is. The priests, pastors, and bishops are not allowed to drink wine at all. But what concerns the temple (the Church), no one from the congregations or from the priests is allowed to enter the Tabernacle (church) of God if they are under the influence of wine or any strong drink, or any kind of drug, as Paul said in the book of First Timothy 3:3 and as God mentioned to Aaron Moses' brother.

54:1 The first letter of the false apostle Paul to Timothy said it differently, it reads: do not drink water but drink little wine {Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and you often infirmities, First timothy 5:23}.

Bishop must be blameless and not given to wine, Paul said: {For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine nor striker, not given unto filthy lucre. But a lover of hospitality a lover of good men, Sober just, holy, temperate, Titus 1:7 to 8}.

55. The first letter of Peter (Peter is Jesus' = (Yeshua) disciple)

For we walk some time with the excess of winePeter said: {That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lust of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in Lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, reveling, banqueting, and abominable idolatries, First Peter 4:2 to 3}.

Note: The book of the First epistle of Peter was written by Paul and not by Peter. Paul forged this epistle as he did to the book of Luke and the book of Acts also.
